PatchWork Raiding and Looting

Patchwork 25 Man Raiding Schedule:

We currently raid Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 9pm server. Our raids typically
last 3-4 hours.

10 Man Raiding Schedule:

Our 10 man Raiding Schedule is always in flux. Look to the raiding calendar
to make sure you are signed up.

PUGING Raids

With our raiding schedule we don’t raid every raid instance every week.
We won’t hold any member back from raiding more with people outside the
guild AS LONG AS:

1. The raid instance you are puging is not scheduled by PatchWork for the week
(i.e. don’t get saved to something the guild is going to run in the same
week) and

2. It does not conflict with the PatchWork Raiding schedule. That is, don’t
pug a raid when PatchWork has a raid planned so that you are ready to go

Raiding Progression Outlook

We are currently in Serpentshrine Cavern. While we have downed bosses in Tempest
Keep in the past and could possibly down a boss or two in Mount Hyjal, we planned
to acquire enough gear from Serpentshrine Cavern to make future fights easier.
As we start clearing or nearly clearing SSC in one to two nights we will move
to TK for one to two nights until we feel SSC gear will no longer provide enough
benefit to make it worth raiding.

Loot Distribution and Priority

Loot priority:

1. Tanks

2. Healers

3. DPS

Other factors that come into play are:

1. Seniority – members that have been in the guild longer than other members
will be considered for loot first.

2. Attendance – the more you show up to raids the more we value you as
a member.

3. Gear yourself (help us help you) – Outside of raiding with the guild
you can take the initiative go get gear that will make your character better.
For example: crafted gear, badge gear, gear from heroic instances. Those that
take the initiative will take precedence over other members that do not.

The philosophy behind our looting system:

We do our best to spread the loot throughout the guild. We believe this makes
us stronger than having a handful of exceptionally geared players. With said,
the loot order priority is TANKS first, HEALERS second and DPS last. We believe
that in order to progress in the game our tanks need to be able to take the
hits from the bosses we go up against. The gear of our tanks will dictate which
bosses we can even attempt. The next component in the line of defense against
a boss is our healers. If the healers don’t have the gear to keep the
tanks alive then it will be a short fight indeed. Of course DPS is a priority
for us, as having gimped DPS will make a fight unbearably long.
